We’ve long known at Studio Shed that everyone could use a bit more of the right space in their lives. In Studio Shed’s case, the right space turns out to be a lot more space. As our product lines and national footprint have expanded, we need some room to grow too. This July, we are in the final phases of tripling our production capacity at our Boulder County, Colorado facility.

In the past month, we have added industrial equipment, and additional fabrication stations to support our continued growth. Given the strong interest we see in small-space solutions throughout the country, this is an investment that will allow us to continue to lead this segment of the industry as more communities embrace freestanding backyard structures for use as home offices, creative studios, accessory dwelling units and more.

The upgrades we are making to our production workflow will allow us to provide a new array of products and better service to our customers. Prefabricated construction offers numerous advantages to stick-built products, from higher construction quality to less waste and environmental impact. We are raising the bar on the precision manufacturing and sustainable techniques that go into each and every one of our freestanding structures.

Customers and our certified installers alike will see the benefits of our upgraded production. Installations will be faster and more efficient as more work is completed in our climate-controlled factory. As production capacity ramps up in the coming months, we will be able to decrease turnaround times on our most popular products to better serve our customers.
